so nervous-first scan today

I'm feeling really nervous today, i've got my first scan this afternoon. I'll have a definate date then, and can tell a few people. I'm still scared of something going wrong though. I'm a member of several discussion groups, and recently there has been a lot of miscarriages

This has really put me on edge, even though i've been trying to keep calm and not think about it too much.

Obviously i'm excited too, i'v been waiting for this day for what seems a long time. And i can't wait to tell my parents, my mom has been hinting for ages and has even knitted me a blanket already (don't ask lol.... she said she's slow at knitting so has started already! as i said there have been big hints as to when we'll be trying to concieve lol).

I guess im just looking for some positive vibes/feelings to be sent my way.....

Don't worry or stress yourself and the baby!I'm sure that you'll be perfectly fine and you will have a few pictures of your healthy little one later today...good luck

i'm so glad that it isn't me who is paramoid about things. I'm sure that you're scan will go just fine though! i have my first doctors appontment later on.

know what you mean about parents though - my mum has been hinting for a few years now!

good luck though, and i hope that you enjoy meeting your baby for the first time!

Hey!

I know how you feel hun I have mine next Friday and now worrying that everything will be ok.

I am sure though that everything will be fine hun it is just perfectly normal to feel the way we do.

We are the same and haven't told anyone as we want to know that everything is ok first.

Ahhhh how exciting

try not to worry too much about it i'm sure everything will be just fine, I was really worried about my 1st scan too it's normal!

Hey hun I know exactly how your feeling, I have my first scan tommorow! Im really worried there's going to nothnig there, i know its silly! but still think it, just cant wait to see my bean so Im reassured everything is good.

Everything will be fine hun, cant wait to see your scan pic get me all excited for my scan tommorow!
