Has anyone ever had a scan at about 6 weeks? - Page 2

My scan at 5w 4d they only say a tiny sac and yolk sac, and they were hard to find. At 6w 6d there was a heartbeat and easy to see embryo.

had 1 at 5+5. they said i was 6+1. could see yolk sac, foetal pole and heartbeat.

I had one at 6plus 4 and just a sack and yoke next at 8plus 4 and full blown baby bouncing around

I had one at 5+6 and saw sac and yolk sac. Had another at 7+1 and saw everything.

They will call you back if they dont see much, bear that in mind and anything else will be a bonus xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i had a scan at 5 weeks 1 day and they saw sac and yolk sac, lady told me they dont usually see anything else till PAST 6 weeks so dont panic 2 much if you dont see a HB x

i no i was exactly the same, i nearly refused it because if i didnt see anything i new i would have just been 2 anxious, but even at your stage just seein the yolk sac would be pretty good from the information the hospital gave me, i have my second early scan on the 12th which will make me 7 weeks, hopefully i will have a HB then! gud luck x

I am also having a scan on Wednesday. I will be 6w 2d (I think). I am going in so they can date the pregnancy, since I have super long cycles and can't be sure when I got pregnant. I putting bets on 6w 4d, but what's 2 days?? Well, it may make a difference in what they can see. I am nervous just like you--because I also haven't had many symptoms. My progesterone decreased from 25 to 21 (which my midwife assures me is still high, so not to worry). My HCG more than doubled, but the progesterone #'s still worry me because that was about 2 weeks ago, so I am just afraid they have fallen more--even though I haven't had any spotting or bleeding, and my temperature is still up around 98 or so. Anyway, just thought I would share that worry hits us all and there's really not much we can do about it at this point. Also, ask if they are doing an abdominal ultrasound or transvaginal because that could make a huge difference in what they see at this point. Good luck!
