Well that was a waste of flippin' time!

Went to the docs to explain everything that happened over the past two months.
And she basically told me to come back in two weeks so she can organise things then, ie paperwork.

I told her that I had had a mc on the 1st of October, and now im pregnant again, and she couldn't seem to get her head around it! She had to write everything down to try and work out dates.. She basically wants me to go back when the pregnancy is at a lower risk of miscarraige - Which I understand, but still

I just wanted a bit more enthusiasm about it all!

I was really hoping she would have offered me an early scan, but she didnt. Im not to sure if its because i've only had one previous miscarraige.

But anyway - maybe it's just because im so involved in this pregnancy that I want other people to be happy about it too.

Meeeh. I've just come back feeling a bit deflated about everything! x

hun fone your local early pregnancy unit and they should arrange an early scan. as far as i was told when you have a mc your automatically entitled to an early scan, honestly hun phone your local hospital and ask for the early preg unit, just give the nurse there your background info and they should sort you out xxx

i will give them a ring at some point today, hopefully it wont affect any further scans i have. i'll be 5 weeks tomorrow so not too sure if they'll be able to see anything now anyway. but i just want something to put my mind at rest.

the doctor seemed to just want to brush me off. kinda saying, well you've had a miscarraige, you may have another one, come back when everythings a bit more safe! really annoyed me haha!! x

hey,
yeh ring ur local hosp, early pregnancy assesment place, or if your that worried, go a+e and say you'r situation, or just say you have mild cramps etc

I would wait til after 6 weeks so you're not worrying if theres not much to see with it being so early. I've had 1 miscarriage and was given 2 early scans, just ask the early pregnancy assessment unit. Good luck x

OH MY GOD!!!!!! I went through the same thing except i had a m/c around the 5th of october and i am now pregnant. my doctor said they have to test me hcg levels and all that cuz as you know they test your urine to see if your preg. which mine came out positive but it was really faint...i just wanted to know if everything was ok now i cant stop thinking about it. i really hope you have more luck then what i have been having.

I am very surprised they didn't want to take blood from me at all! Seems a bit strange. But im sure they know best!!...!
Just can't wait untill two weeks time and I can actually get the ball moving. x

I wasn't offered an early scan either even though I've had a MC before

I could have paid, but it really hasn't taken that long for my normal scan to get here! I know, sounds stupid, but really!
