Midwife appointments

How often should you see your mw?

Im really confused because the mother of my niece reckons she saw her mw once a week and she had her baby last April.

She said she heard the hb and everything before she had her 12 wk scan but i only saw my mw at 7 wks and she asked me to book another app when im 16 wks. So Im really confused. Should i be seeing my mw more often?

I have my scan tomorrow though so im really excited

I'm to see my MW once a month til i'm further on then it becomes weekly. Not sure how it is for everyone else.

I see my midwife for the first time tomorrow. I think it's once a month until closer to the birth... can't really remember. Anyways, I'm sure it's changed about 20 times in the last 2 years.... as everything pregnancy related normally does !!

I guess im just worrying about nothing.

My mw took all my bloods to test me against everything at 7 wks. So im sure if there were any concerns or problems she would had requested to see me before now.

Oh well i guess i will just have to wait till im 16wks to see her again.

I saw my MW for the 1st time yesterday and have my next appointment in four weeks time until further on into the pregnancy when i'll be seeing her more often.

According to my notes it's once a month till you get to 30 weeks, then it's 33 weeks and after that you see your midwife every 2 weeks till 38 or 39 weeks when you'll see her every week if not more till baby is born.

I see the midwife every month but if i have had any questions or worries i just book an appointment to see her in between. I think when your late on, 30+ weeks, you see her every week.

I see my OB once a month until I'm further along, than it's every 2 weeks, and closer to the due date it's every week.

no one see's thier midwife every week unless there are serios compications depending on wether or not this is your first u should have between 7-12 appts.
