hi i was worrying because my ms seemed to be easing of a bit so i thought i would do another test as im a poas whore and i got really worried as it came up quite pale compared to the dark ones i got a few weeks ago,then i remembered someone saying that as your pregnancy progresses that your levels can become to high and give a false negative result and if you dilute your pee with some water it will make it low enough to detect again,so i added some water to the pee that i got a pale line on and dipped another test in and low and behold the result line was much darker,dont know why it does this but i just remember someonelse having this so thought i would try and its true,so the lesson is after you have got your +dont panic if you do one a few weeks later and its fainter,lol.xxx

oh and the ms is back today.xx

that's so interesting. Thanks for posting that. My MS lightened up yesterday and I was considering another test but thought that would be silly because there's def still a baby in there and the test wouldn't tell me if it's ummmm, ya' know.

A line is a line is a line. It doesn't matter how faint or dark it is. If there's a 2nd line there then hunni there's a baby

my ms stopped at about 9 weeks as that is when the placenta starts to function a little and i thought it was all clear until yesterday when i started cooking my kids tea and nearly was sick all over it lol so i guess it can still strike even when your nearly in the 2nd trimester lol good tip on the tests tho

hi!

I did this today, as my MS has got better at 8 weeks and now one week later disappeared I did some HPTs. Last week I got a dark line but today's was really pale. I hope that in my case it's the same... I think I will buy some more later. Did anyone else experience this?

try diluting it with water an see if thats darker.xxx
