I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm about the same as you and I've been having them on and off - sometimes they take my breath away they are so sharp. I went to the hospital as I was away when they got bad so couldnt see my Dr and they were really good. Took swabs, bloods and gave me a scan and although you couldnt even see a heartbeat, I felt better for being reassured that its not uncommon. I'm now just waiting to see if I have a UTI which may have been irritating things.
If you are worried - just go to the DRs/early pregnancy unit.

| If you're really worried then it doesn't harm just to phone and find out. But cramps are perfectly normal in early pregnancy and they don't disappear overnight either. They're said to last till about week 8 but I find that nonsense because I still have them and I read many women have them all the way through.
I've had cramps that have ranged from mild to pretty uncomfortable. To the point where they've stopped me in my tracks and made me sit down and everything is fine. Your body is preparing itself for this major change it's about to go through.
If the pain is excruciatingly painful and causing you immense discomfort then get it checked out.
But you're in for a fair few aches and pains and scares over the next few months. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had period like cramping for the first 4-5 weeks of my pregnancy, but they were very mild not severe at all. I would go ahead and get it checked out |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i had uncomfy period pains for teh first 6 weeks or so. It wasnt nice at all. Just like AF was coming - or maybe even a little worse in fact.
It's all normal apparently. If I were you I'd try and not panic unless it was intense cramps and there was blood.
The thing is, even if you do go to the doc, it's unlikely they'll be bale to do anything when it's this early (very very sad i know).
Chances are it's fine, try and not worry. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Cramps or tummy aches/niggles are very common, but when it is 'you' it is happening to it is very un-nerving. If they become severe & accompanied by bleeding, see your GP. I hope they do calm down, but they do continue throughout the pregnancy. x |
