Hi there,
I'm so glad a came across this website and forum. I've just 4 weeks pregnant and am having pains like period pains and a dull backache - convinced that AF is coming, despite the three BFP tests I have.
It's just scary. I've already had one miscarriage, and one ectopic. This pain is much different than the ectopic, it's literally the normal pains with AF.
It's reassuring to hear that other people feel like this. Is there any indicator when these pains will go away?
I', over-cautious so have booked into see my doctor tomorrow as II was worried about pains and I will see if i can have an early scan.
I can't believe how much worry and protection over a baby that hasn't even been born yet!!

Thank you all so much,
it's such a relief to know that others have experienced the same!
They haven't been that bad today - and now like a few of you guy's started to worry they were leaving! - I really must be going mad.

I def think I will see if I can get an early scan - in the UK most Doctors don't have scanning machiene's and you need to be referred to an early pregnancy clinic or go to the hospital as an emergancy. My doctor really didn't seem to worried - just wanted one before we fly at Easter.

My doctor said nothing really shows till 6 weeks, so as long as it's still hanging on in there I will hopefully be able to wait another week.

The lower back ache is more like kidney or ovarie pain rather than muscular, so maybe it's just the start of producing hormones etc.

I want to say thanks again - I searched through this forum earlier and realise this question has been asked many times- thanks for being so understanding and taking the time to answer again!!!!
