what would cause pink CM at 12 weeks?

Since yesterday I have had lots of CM with a slight pink tinge. About 2 hours ago I went to the loo and there was lots of CM with more of a pink/brown tinge. What could be causing this? It can't be implantation spotting at 12 weeks.

I read something just now on a pregnancy website that was very negative, it said spotting after 13 weeks could be due to placental abruption (ffs! I dont want to read that!!!) or an infection blah blah blah.

The only thing I can think of (apart from the worst) is that I had thrush last week and was prescribed a pessary on Monday to treat it. I used it and had no problems (I read on another thread on here that it caused bleeding in one forum member) but now I've got this pink CM I'm wondering it it could be linked to using the pessary. But if it is a result of using the pessary (or a result of the thrush itself) why has it taken 5 days for me to have pink CM, why didn't it happen sooner? I'm quite sure the thrush has completely cleared up by the way.

I'd love to put it down to the pessary but what if its not that, what else could it be?! (There wasn't a smilie for confused, sad and pissed off all in one.)

i get a bit off a pink tinge when i get thrush so it probably is down to that it will probably clear up but might be worth checking that the thrush has completley gone.xxx

no problem ,with my first i actually had thrush that bad i was bleeding and had to be checked out in hospital but all was fine but i think i had a 3 day course of pessarys to clear it up so it might just mean you need another pessary to clear it properley.xxx
