Hair Loss


Hey everyone..

im coming up to my 2nd trimester in a few days yay! but i have a lil problem.. is anyone elses hair falling out at a FAST RATE?!!?! ...
i brushed my hair today and when i was finished half my hair seemed to be in the brush!!!! i read that ur hair will get lifeless during pregnancy but i never read it will die and fall out!!!

HELP!!

iv had this for the last year or so my hairs gone all thin and yuk i never used to lose any hairs it could be hormones my docs told me major changes in hormones can cause hair loss also stress and bad diet. hair also goes through growth cycles too ....im pretty sure it wont be a long term thing for you

between 6-10 weeks my hair was falling out, but it has ceased and seems to be looking good now!

Yeah, happens to me too, hair feels different, alittle corse and then falling out, in shower, in bed, when I brush - just falling out. I have long thick hair but will cut it off if it gets too bad.
It's all part of the hormonal changes I guess, and perhaps because of a weakend immune system.

My hair is always falling out, but what you may find is where it is falling out that you have new hair gowing already, a lot of it is down to your hormones, it should settle for you soon.....

I was just about to post this question myself.

I've been losing hair so much, it rang alarm bells! It seemed like 40% of my hair ended up on my brush. I guess it's normal seeing as though so many other women have experienced this too. I just hope my hair grows back once this pregnancy is over...you can see my scalp!!!

I remember from my first that my hair just filled the bath as well as my brush and bed and I really panicked i would end up bold but I didn after it felt like i had lost over half my hair it stopped then went really nice and thick again once my little one arrived, but it did stop falling out after a few weeks of panic
