was just watching the scottish news there and they were on about pregnant women are 4 times more likely to experience complications from swine flu - dont know about the immune system info & didnt realise that this was likely to increase your risk of mc?

Its quite worrying isnt it? As if we didnt have enough to stress about

I dont know if that think bout the mc is true buts that is the way I see it

When you start pregnancy your immune system lowers so the baby can start to grow other wise our bodies would see them as a foreign object and reject them. If they give our immune sytem a boost a mc could happen

What do you guys think, have I got it wrong

I am not sure but the DOH is putting us as really really needing it now 6 pregnant women have dies from it out of the 106 deaths so far.

I would have a long chat with midwife or Dr but as a Mum of 2 (at nursery and school so they may well pick it up), I would rather have it and live than risk it and leave my kids without a Mum xxx

I've not heard of this. I've had 5 MC's due to an immune problem, it's call natural killer cells, my body thinks my babies are cancer and kills them But with this pregnancy I'm on steriods and my wee fighter has hung on in there.

I'll need to check this out with my MW.

I'm now thinking that too, I've been through enough losing my babies and unsure if I want to risk this one too.

Bloody hate decisions

Have just been reading up on it, while the risk of the vaccine is understandable the risk of losing beany without the vaccine is also a real one.

God this is a hard decision. See this article:
