How long did you keep temping for?

Ok so im a little addicted to the BBT

how long did you all keep temping before you finally gave it up?

I know you are not really meant to keep doing it after your bfp but to be honest i did it for so long i think it would just feel weird to wake up and not shove that damn thing in my mouth

I totally agree! Its just habit now! I say keep doing it as long as you want/can be bothered!

I did because I had some spotting- but it stayed up. A lot of people encouraged me to quit because it can create unnecessary worry.

Thanks girls, yeah i might give it up in about a week, if i feel that i can

i should stop though because it is causing me to worry already, as my temps arnt hugely high, i hope its all ok, im off to the docs for confirmation this afternoon.

Did you look at my chart! I keep it up for ages (or at least 2 more weeks). I finally locked the bbt away in a drawer, so I'd have to get out of bed to get to it.

I was getting sick of it before I got my

so that was the last day I took my temp.

I thought it would be useful to keep temping so I can catch any mc signs and alert a doc straight away.

Am I doing the wrong thing?

They recommend that u staop taking ur temp because it fluctuates while pregnant.

I stopped day af was due! Didnt want to cause unwanted panic xxx

Around the time AF was due my temp plunged and it sent me into a panic. That morning I threw my thermometer out the window!
