Labor Better or Worse 2nd time around?

This will be my second child.. my son, the pregnancy was easy, never sick, full of energy from beginning to end.

The same with his delivery. A breeze. Contractions werent that bad. Pushed for about 5-7mins and he was out.

This pregnancy has been totally different. Im always sick. Horrible migraines. And completely exhausted! I feel like crap.

So Im afraid that the labour and delivery will be totally different and is going to be harder and more painful. So for those who have done it, is it worse or a whole lot easier the 2nd time around?

To be fair every labour is different but as a rule its easier the second time as your muscles have already been stretched from the first xxxx

every labour is different, i have had 3 completley different labours. My first was awful but my second was my easiest, I knew what to expect etc. etc. It just depends hun but i believe that how you labour goes is partially down to you - if your calm, positive and focused it will be easier that if your frightened and nervous.

Each is different hun. My 2nd was easier than my first, but then my 3rd was worse. Then my last pregnancy which was twins was the easiest. I don't this there is a rule as such, each is different in my experience

My Mum had 3 of us, and she said my youngest brother's pregnancy was the hardest because she had me and my sister to look after, but his labour was the easiest and the shortest xx

Delivering my second was easier, the contractions were still painful....
Im having my 3rd, thanks ladies for scaring me! now im worried this is going to be the worst labour!

All 8 of mine have been different!

My last 2 were longer and more difficult because they were premmies (33 and 31 weeks)

OMG I really hope the contractions are not as painful as the first time round, I was begging for an epidural 2 hours after they started although I've since been told that's because my fore and hind waters went, even after it was given I could still feel every one and the labour lasted 15 hours in total with the contractions only 2
minutes apart for most of that.

Is this true? Is the pain really worst when this happens?
