nervous about scan

I have my scan in 2 weeks, Im really excited about seeing baby, but Im really nervous incase there's nothing there or if there is no heartbeat, I know its a really depressing thing to think but I cant stop thinking it, I was never like this with my first.

I keep telling myself everything must be ok, I have a small bump, Im still feeling sick, so baby must be growing as the hormones are definatly causing pg symptoms, boobs are still slightly tender (but not as much as before)

I jsut know Im not going to be able to look at the screen until they say, eveything is ok.

is it normal to feel like this ?

I felt the same and was making myself feel sick with worry - so I'm guessing it's normal. Then I was really worried about my triple test, then about my 20 week scan and now about his health at the birth. The worrying is never ending!

One of my friends said that she sad and sobbed in the waiting area she was so nervous. And my SIL said she worried constantly through both her pregnancies, so I'm sure it's normal. Good luck and try and enjoy the experience

I think with pregnancy there will always be something to worry about thats just our maternal instinct.
Im sure everything will be fine and you'll see your LO jumpin about on the screen.
All the best
