Should HPT lines get darker??

I took a superdrug test last Friday, its was VERY faint BFP!! Im now 14DPO and am still getting BFP lines but they are still not very dark but coming up faster. The clear blue digi said pregnant 1-2, and the clearblue normal one has a line in under a minute but its not dark yet!!!!

I am 2 days overdue for AF but am now paranoid im either having a chemical or an ectopic....I had a MMC in August and am paranoid its gonna happen again. I have bloods tomorrow though!

What do you think.....darker lines or not?? im scared!!!!!!x

Hey Beachlover,
I remember you from the miscarriage forum, I had a mmc in August too and just got my BFP too! How crazy is that!? Congratulations!

As far as I know, my GP told me that the lines don't necessarily get darker. He told me to use clear blue digital and if its a BFP don't worry about anything else. I got a clear line at 4 days past AF but it wasn't really dark. I really wouldn't worry, doc also said it depends on strength of urine and also type of dye in the test as to how dark the line goes...a line is a line!

I am so pleased for you and really hope the pregnancy goes really well!

xx

Deep breaths....deep breaths Like everyone says- A line is a line is a line. Could be just the different amounts of dyes in the tests. Mine took forever to get darker so I finally just took a digi and it said PREGNANT so I believed it

Congrats on your I know it's easier said than done, but try to enojoy the fact that you are PREGNANT! Just because you've had a mc before doesn't mean you're going to have another one
