Really worried please help gals!!!

Hey everyone. Was wondering if any of you have experienced light bleeding in your first trimester? Last night I went to the toilet and as I went to wipe myself there was some red/brown blood on the tissue(sorry), not a huge amount but not a tiny amoount either.
I phoned the Doc straight away and they told me to come in tomorrow and they would arrange an ultra sound scan! Well I have just been to the Docs and he said it may be a threatened miscarriage or it may be just bleedin which is very common. I have little bleedin today and the blood is brown. I'm not in any pain whatsoever has anyone got any advice????????????
I have an ultrasound tom I m so scared.

I had some light bleeding when I was about 10 weeks. It was brown and just enough to get into my underwear but it lasted several days. I also had a scan and they couldn't see a problem.

My doctor was great and told me that it can be the sign of a miscarriage and the bleeding will get worse & if thats the case it's quite common but also that most of the time bleeding is nothing to worry about and seems to be just one of those things. He said the majority of women who have some bleeding go on to have normal, healthy babies.

I think as a rule the lighter the bleeding the less risk there is. It's also a good sign if you don't have cramping with it. I had really bad cramps with mine though & was still ok.

I hope everything goes well for you at the scan.

Bleeding is very cmmon hun and yours sounds like old blood! You should mainly start worrying when you have fresh blood accompanied by painful cramping, otherwise usually all is well.

I had severe bleeding and clots at 11 weeks, no cramps and my LO was 1yrs old on Sunday! Be positive! x

I had red bleeding at 7 weeks and passed a clot which was really scary. I had my 12 week scan on Monady and everything is still ok. A lot of bleeding goes unexplained and if you haven't had a lot then that's a good sign.

Wishing you all the very best. I had bleeding throughout all my pregnancies, and it seems they were all around the 7 week mark. That's my experience only and others have it earlier or later. It's normal for many women but if you are concerned, do call your doctor

Good luck with everything - from what I've heard this is pretty common. Don't stress out - doesn't help you OR the LO!! I'm sure everything is fine!
