| Waiting To Try (WTT)  Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Peterborough, England Posts: 953 | Spotting... I've come over from WTT to ask a question... I hope you don't mind. I figured the ladies in first tri would know best  When you talk about spotting, how heavy is it? I ask because I think my AF started today, but I don't know whether it is a freakishly light AF or spotting. I normally have a very heavy period. I have been getting pink blood when I wipe at intervals all day... I put a pad in just incase it picked up and turned into proper AF suddenly and I have a small amount of pink blood on there but not much. From what I've read spotting is tiny amounts, and what I have certainly isn't a lot but it's definitely visible when I wipe, and last time I went to the loo, it was quite dark pink, with a hint of red. So could this be classed as spotting, or is my period just wierd? Thanks for the help xxx |

I was only asking because I have been getting a lot of other symtoms but assumed I was just wishful thinking, then when I got a really light period like this (which I never do) I started thinking... but overnight it's gotten a little heavier. Not much, but I had a teeny bit of actual blood, as opposed to stuff I had yesterday which looked like watercolour paint? It's back to that consistency now but it's a bit redder so I'm guessing it's not spotting, just a wierd period I know they can change a lot when you're young so I'm not too worried...thanks for the help xxx |
