urine sample

Hey girls

just a quick question. I have a doc checkup on monday and have been asked to take a urine sample with me. the appointment is at 11:30 so when would be the best time to do the sample. should it be the irst pee o the morning o should I wait as close to the appointment as I can

normally first in the morning is best, but it depends on what it's for.
if it's for your doctor to confirm your pregnancy then i would suggest First in morning.
if its for the midwife it's not so important. (in other words anytime of day is fine)

well it not the midwie just the nurse in my local gp. Its really a general checkup last time I saw her she asked how I was and took my blood pressure and that was it she did ask me or a sample that day but didn't know I had to take one so never did.

Normally i get told to not use first morning urine. Anything after that i would use hun.

if its not to check your pregnant abd its just a routine checkup i'd imagine any time of day is fine, could always phone up and ask?

i would think anytime would be okay? usually when i've had to do a urine test they just give me the little jar thingy when i get there, so that would be whenever my appointment was but maybe it does depend what it's for. when i had the urine test to confirm my pregnancy my appointment was at 2PM and i just did it right at the doctor's office when i got there.
