I'm Currently Feeling: | Silly Question.... Girls.
Is anyone finding it incredibly difficult not to shout it from the roof tops?!!!?
I really want to tell everyone my news but I feel like I should wait for a while longer. My parents, daughter, MIL, sister and 2 best friends know but I still want to tell everyone I know!!!!!!
When I was preg with DD I think I managed until about 9 weeks......5 WEEKS MORE AT LEAST.....
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know what you mean. I'm still keeping quiet with my family and it's been really difficult. I still don't know when I'm going to tell |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've told close family and a few friends but like you am waiting for a while until I tell everyone I know!! It's so hard to keep quiet as I literally have a one track mind at the mo...if I'm not talking to OH about it, I'm thinking about it or searching endlessly on the web at baby shop websites!!
I can't wait till I'm at the stage that I can just talk openly about it and stop worrying so much that bubba won't stick.
At least I've found this forum, it's great to be able to talk openly on here

I'm Currently Feeling: | It is hard to keep it quiet that first little bit. Of course it didn't matter in my case my mom told everyone she ran into |

| It's terrible!
And it gets worse the closer you get to the date.
We're going to finally announce it to the world when I hit 11 weeks which is on Wednesday.
We're just waiting till our follow up scan tomorrow afternoon then we'll tell.
It's so frustrating. It's 2 days but it seems like an eternity. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I remember bugging you in the TTC board to see if you'd tested!!!
I've had to tell my boss as they were wanting to offer me a new job and there were implications. I think I'll need to tell work fairly soon - I work in a high school and one of the occupational hazards o my school is sometimes dealing with challenging behaviour. Yelling at the top of my voice to get the attention of upto 400 kids is bound to raise stress levels - the day after my test I had to do just this and kept thinking 'be calm.....' while my staff looked on thinking I had been abducted by aliens!!! Not my usual approach for getting the attention of hundreds of chatting 15 yr olds!!!
There is also lifting of heavy boxes of exam papers involved which I'm not prepared to risk but I do have the help of two close colleagues who know the score.
I know you should never wish away time but I'm finding I have been for a few days! |

I work in a restaurant and have to carry plates ect and it gets very stressful on a busy night when Im running around and customers are demanding things from me, we have to drag these heavy plants in at the end of the night and I've been saying I have a bad back and dont want to make it worse by carrying them, people must think I just cant be bothered and its a cop out lol.
wow your brave working in a high school! at least your maternity leave will be extended by the summer hols! |
