could my lappie harm my baby?

I lie in bed with my laptop on my belly and i worry sometimes that it could harm my baby? Are there any radio waves ar anything like that what come out the vents at the bottom of the laptop? It gets really hot too!
I feel silly askin this but it worries me

I personally haven't researched that one but I use a pillow just in case. They also have little lap tables, at least some sort of protection if it's harmful right?

I wouldn't worry about radiation or anything like that but I wouldbe careful of the heat they tend to put out. I know mine gets really hot underneath. I try to sit with mine on the top of my legs instead of on my belly. You could also put it on one of those TV trays. That would be better for the laptop as well because when they are laying on blankets the heat gets trapped instead of vented well and it will eventually cause it to malfunction. We have ours sitting on a little fan tray thing to keep it well ventilated so it won't overheat and break. The bottom still gets pretty hot with that though so I still lay it on my legs instead of the belly.

And the only thing vented out the vents in the bottom is hot air. If the hot air can't get out, things on the inside can start to melt.

I've looked up a few bits on this very thing and I've found nothing in my bit o research that says there's any harmful waves coming out of it. As Honeygrl says, the issue is the heat from it so if there was a way you could keep it off your belly and on your lap instead, that would solve any issues with the heat. Other than that, surf away!

I'm sitting like this now but I push the laptop down slightly so it is more on the top of my legs than my belly x
