Thanks everyone so much. I needed some sympathy and distraction so bad. I've gotten it down to a dull throb now which I can handle. Still sucks, but better than it was!

I know it sounds really odd but what finally seems to have eased the sharper pain was a damn cigarette. I quit weeks ago when I first got pregnant but I remembered that a cig use to help when the pain got bad so I tried one. It must have some sort of numbing effect. Oragel didn't even work before like the cigarette did. I don't get it at all. I also have no idea why I still have a half a box of cigarettes in my medicine cabinet! They have to be months old and terribly stale!

It sounds absolutely rotten Honeygrl! It sounds like you're doing everything you can for the moment...what a bad time to have tooth issues (pregnancy). It seems it's an off-limits time for dentists. It's hard to believe they won't approve some form of anasthetic to work on pregnant women. Cruel and unusual punishment to let women suffer like that!

omg 7 teeth. I had one taken out and it really isn't just pressure. I agree! That sounds such a horrible experience.

Just think shortly you can go and get it sorted. the only other thing I can thing of is to use a toothbrush around the tooth like kind of go into the roots (not sure what your tooth is like) and brush with toothpaste. Sometimes I have noticed in the past toothache going away if you change the pressure of the tooth.

One time I went to the dentist with toothache, he took the filling out and as soon as that happened the toothache dissapeared, bcause the pressure of the filling was hitting a nerve.

So perhaps if you fiddle around with your tooth it might change the pain. Obviously don't go over board. And maybe use salty water at the same time to kind of wash away the bacteria.

xx

I can't touch the tooth itself at all with fingers or a tooth brush. This morning I had to brush all around it and then rinse really good with mouthwash. Touching it or the gum near it produces a pain that nearly makes me pass out. It's easing a bit though at the moment.

i would just go crazy with the salty water then like at least 4 times a day! I'm glad it's easing up a bit
