I really want to buy stuff... but unfortunately ( or fortunately maybe ) I don't have to, as I still have stuff from my boys and I know 4 people who've had girls in the last 14 months, and they've all offered me everything. So I have no excuse to go out and spend

I started buying the irresistibly cute pieces even before TTC and then cooled off a bit until 12 weeks, but now I don't want to waste money buying for the wrong sex anymore, so I don't think I'll be doing any serious shopping until after 20weeks!

You're pregnant - you should do whatever makes you feel good and I wouldn't worry about buying things and something going wrong - I've got my baby box in the attic and it will be there until somebody needs it!

I love ebay and etsy for baby stuff. Ebay has a variety of things, and etsy has some nice nursing necklaces.

Are you looking for anything in particular? If you want organic stuff I know a few sites though I don't know if they ship to the UK.

I just couldn't help myself with buying baby stuff. I was probably about 12 wks along when I started. I had to stick to white, green, yellow, and brown stuff though. I couldn't help it! lol Those after holiday sales didn't help either. (OMg I got 6 bodysuits for $10!)

If anything happens, you can always keep the stuff. I'm not getting rid of my stuff. Noooo! lol

thank you all, i don't feel like such a freak now and I've calmed down a bit today (i think I'm having major hormone surges lol) as for names it's only me really so i can have what i like (Lilly Rose or Jude David at the moment)

Okay so i did go and buy two little things but hopefully i'll calm down now and re-frenzy next month (the sales are such a temptation cause i can get so much more for my money) one was in the sale and one was a brilliant little ladybird duffle coat from a charity shop un-used so i have behaved a bit

the new baby shopping list is a good idea cause i haven't a clue what i actually need to by apart from a moses basket and baby grows!

In my first pregnancy I had a pregnancy journal that had a checklist of the essentials to buy for your newborn. I can't find the book.

But I did find another excellent list of essentials at this site:

http://www.todaysparent.com/pregnanc...58_3736&page=1

I also mentioned this before, but what I did was buy the clothing one size up as newborn baby's outgrow their clothes super fast!
