hey love, i'm a military wife myself. Although i wasn't pregnant when y husband left for deployment, it was a lonley, stressful time in itself let alone adding a new pregnancy. You are a strong woman you can do this. There is always support at your local fleet and family support office and there are wives groups that you can join to help you make lady friends in the same boat...b/c i'm sure there are.
talk to your doc about lifting your son that will help ease your mind or to help you prepare to enlist the help of family memebers when that time comes.

Everything will be ok..it will get loney and tough but you can do it. you CAN!
PM me if you want to chat
God bless.

My husband is thinking seriously about joining the Army reserves since we found out we are having a baby in april because our financial and job situations are terrible and the sign on bonus plus the job training they give would finally get us on our feet. I've been dragging my feet on the issue though because I'm afraid that between basic training and the job training he would be gone when the baby is due and I don't have anyone but him and don't want to be all alone for it... we are still discussing it though. he really thinks it's the best idea we've come up with so far.

My boyfriend is in the military and I'm so scared for him to leave. But let me tell you, military wives and girlfriends are some of the strongest women I have ever met in my life. It is all about keeping your head up and staying busy. The first few days and even weeks are the hardest. But you see that you can do it and it becomes easier. We all have our good days and our bad. It is all part of the journey. Feel free to message me anytime. I'd be happy to talk!

I am also a military wife. This will be our first child.....and he will deploy when I will be 15(ish) weeks. I am sooooo nervous and terrified and I will also be very lonely. I don't know a single soul around here. My husband will also miss 3/4 of the pregnancy and the first 7 months of our childs life.....that really makes me sad In about a month or so we will be in the same situation so if you ever need to talk or anything, i'm here for ya! If you would like, you can also e-mail me. We can complain about how much our situations suck with eachother!
If you have facebook and wanna chat you can add me! My name's Janell Brocksmith
I would give you my e-mail address but it won't let me

I know exactly how u feel hun, I am currently 5+1 and hubby is being deployed at the end of next month. He'll prob be back at the end of April and baby is due 31st May so I will be going thru most of it on my own as well.

I am just holding on to the fact that he will be here before baby is born (he better be anyway!) My hubby is in the british army so dont know if its the same with u but he'll be getting a lot of post tour leave so at least he'll be at home for quite a while to share the first weeks of babys life.

We can countdown together and keep each other company, pm me anytime xxxx
