Morning sickness

Ok this has got me puzzled.

I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow.
From about 6-7 weeks morning sickness kicked in and it got pretty bad. Bad to the point where I was given medication because I couldn't keep anything down.

I stopped taking the medication on Saturday to see if I could handle going without it because it was making me drowsy. On Sunday I felt a little sick but since Monday (9weeks 5 days) I haven't felt sick at all. Nothing! Ok the occasional smell makes me a little queasy but that's hardly noticable.

I keep hoping it's gone for good but something deep down inside is telling me to prepare myself for it's return. I just wanted to know if anyone here has had their morning sickness taking a vacation.

Some paranoid sites say that it's a sign of a miscarriage. But I refuse to get myself sucked into that. I still have breast tenderness and I'm still struggling to keep my eyes open. So it's not like all my symptoms have suddenly disappeared. It's just the morning sickness that's gone.

When I went for my check up last week my gynie prescribed me some progesterone tablets. He said they might make me sick. I take one a night. Just thought I should add that.

Cool thanks

So I should keep my nausea pills and ginger biscuits within reach then?

i too felt a lot better from around week 9. it came back a little but since 12 weeks it got better again. Then from 14 weeks I've been feeling mervelous and hungry as a horse.

Really, I wouldnt worry.
If there's been no blood then panic not. Be happy you're not sick.

Mine started early, around 5 1/2 weeks and ended by 9 weeks (with the occassional bout of nausea thrown in--but not nearly as bad as it had been). I think it's pretty normal. I was worried at first too but went to my 13 week appointment and heard the heartbeat and saw my baby moving around on the ultrasound, completely reassured me.

Don't worry, my morning sickness went at about 10 weeks too. I later had one or 2 days of still feeling a bit queasy but that's it.

Nothing to worry about!

Thanks everyone.

Yeah I'm not really concerned. I'm actually relieved. I can eat!!! LOL
I'm going for a 2nd ultrasound in a week so that'll also finally put my mind at ease.

It's just annoying you read all these sites and articles and they all seem to generalise. Like they all say Morning sickness starts at 5-6 weeks, peaks at 9 weeks then tapers off and usually ends by 12-16 weeks.

And then you go ahead and have something different happen.

Your symptoms fade after the miscarriage I heard. And when I went to the Hospital with bleeding the woman asked me did I still have my symptoms and when I said yes she said that's good sign. Everything turned out fine and I got to see Noodles heartbeat and alot of pregnancies have bleeding which can be normal but it is still best to go make sure than wait it out.

Well I don't have to wait long to find out. I have a checkup and scan on Tuesday.

Haven't had bleeding or any peculiar cramping.

My last pregnancy my symptoms didn't fade at all. Morning sickness got worse even after we heard there was no heartbeat.
LOL my body isn't really anything to go by.
