Shooting pains in vagina?

Hi ladies,
I'm 11+1 weeks and am experiencing sharp shooting pain deep in my vagina (sorry TMI!) it's not horrendous pain but it travels up to under my tummy button starting from low down deep in my bits! Anyone had anything the same?

I was having this today while I was shopping with the OH, so painful!! I was just researching on the net and apparently it's quite normal (still enough to freak you out though right??).

Hope yours have eased off like mine x x

I got this last night too for the first time since being pregnant. It felt like a sharp shooting web of pain that would last less than a second each time but it happened about 10 or 15 times overall last night. It definitely is freaky, particularly as I was in a car with a friend yesterday and she wasn't looking at one point while driving about 5 miles per hour and bonked right up onto a curb...so there was a significant jolt in the car. I couldn't help thinking last night that maybe the car jolt was sending my pregnancy into a tizzy...it was kind of scary, but if I use logic and reason, the jolt wasn't -that- bad and if women had miscarriages after something like that, I think there'd be a lot more miscarriages. The pains I had felt a lot more like others on here have described, the stretching of the uterus and all..

I've had this, although it seems to have gone. All was perfect with my 12-week scan though so I'm guessing it's normal...

I've had this too. It happens to me when I'm going from a sitting position to a standing position and feels like someone is dragging a hot poker up my bits. I mentioned it to a friend who said she had it when she was pregnant and her midwife told her it was because of excess pressure on a nerve. I'm gonna ask about it at my appt on wednesday though.

i've had something similar, i get a dull ache starting behind my belly button if i sit down or get up too enthusiastically! Usually it goes in about 5 minutes, i went to see the doctor and she said it was totally normal, not to worry
