People with dopplers, do you ever find this.......

I'm trying to listen in to Beano this morning and all I can hear is myself It sounds like my uterus is having a thunder storm or something. Everywhere is whirling or pulses Anyway, I'm sure I can hear Beano underneath all of this noise but I have to hold the doppler right up to my ear and really concentrate on blocking out all the other noises.

Why is it somedays it's quiet in there and other days it's so loud I can't find a patch of my abdomen that isn't creating a noise? Does anyone else get this?

I have noticed this as well. Some days its so clear and others really faint cos off all the background noises. I just put it down to my babys position.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have just tried again after emptying my bladder (because I'm the biggest worrier ever!!! ) And I heard Beano loud and clear I think I'm a bit more anxious at the moment because I know the placenta is starting to take over and I worry myself that it hasn't formed properly.

I hope you all aren't getting too fed up of me and my doppler worries

The wooshing pulse is the placenta, which I think is cool to find as well. Granted not as good at your LOs HB, but still fun.

I heard that when I went to my OB appointment at 13 weeks! It's crazy!! It's probably still quite early for you to be able to hear a loud heartbeat from the LO, I know at 13 weeks it took the nurse 15 minutes to find my LO's and even than the little monster moved after a couple of seconds
