Hayfever!!

Hi girls

I have suffered from hayfever ever since I was about 5!
It's pretty bad & not the mild type that most people get.

For the past 2 years I have been taking conventional medicine as well as some homeopathtic type stuff.

But as Im pregnant now I wont be able to take anything this year & am worried about what state I'll be in!! (I have not been able to come to work sometimes as I've had badly swollen eyes!!)

Has anyone been through this? Is there any chance that pregnancy might make my hayfever stay away??

There is a chance that pregnancy might make your hayfever dissapear or it might make it worse.. It's made mine worse, and my eczema. Good luck though, hope all turns out well for you.

I would talk to your doctor, there may be something out there that is safe to take (in case the hayfever gets too bad).

I think nasal sprays are about the only thing that is relatively safe to take during pregnancy but you need to see your gp. I would recommend though if you are going to start using one get it right away and start taking it now, they can take a while to start working!
