When you see a midwife when you're after 12 weeks she uses this thing called a doppler to hear your babys heartbeat thats all it is and no you're not stupid, unless you've had a midwife listen to the heartbeat before you're perfectly normal if you don't know

Ah righteo cool. I still got quite a few weeks til that happens. Mind you my mum is a midwife, but never heard of her using that term unless it's an American lingo.
