I'm Currently Feeling: | Just come back from hospital Hi guys well ive just come back from hospital i went to a & e the other night because i had heavy bleeding just like a period but no cramps or back pain I had some horrible gyn doc wrench the spectulum thing up there it was sooooooooooooooooo painful to see where the bleed was coming from she said my cervix wasnt completly shut but only open slightly so they put me on a drip and sent me to the ward for the night in the morning i went to epac for an early scan and was quite shocked to see the baby and a heartbeat (i was expecting nothing since i had so much of a bleed)the doctor who did the scan said there was no evidence of a bleed from the womb or anywhere around it. then after pointless waiting around for hours they sent me home. I think the one question thats bothering me is where the hell was all the blood coming from no one at the hospital ever explained it to me.
has anyone had anything similar??
ps the bleeding seems to have slowed down |

It does bring everything into reality when you see then on screen doesn't it? Also I have read once a heartbeat has been seen the chances of miscarriage do drop. I have also just looked up unexplained bleeding and it says it can just be from the cervix as it's very sensitive and full of blood vessels during pregnancy. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sorry I don't really have any advice for you as to what it could be. Personally if it were me I'd keep calling the doctor until they answered my question. Glad your LO is doing well. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Goodness, they sent you home without telling you what might have been the cause? Ridiculous. I agree with Vickie, keep calling that doctor!
Glad everything is ok with your LO | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had bleeding early in this pregnancy & was never told what it could be, so try not to worry. It is a really good sign that they have seen the heartbeat. I hope that everything goes smoothly for you from now on!! |
