i told my mum and dad straightaway then told my lil brothers and sisters at 12 weeks with the scan pic, my employer i told str8 away incase of any risks etc
i miscarried once last year, and this time i told my close friend and everyone in my family when i was only 5 1/2 weeks pregnant ( when i just found out and met the doctor ). so happy and couldn't keep it you know, and i told my husband parents because they came here on x-mas and they wanted all of us to go to quart biking ( i think i spell it wrong )
Overall we waited until 3 months. There were some exceptions tho, close friends (mostly cuz i had no idea what I was doing and the morning sickness all day was giving me away
Luke and i told parents and best mates and my boss pretty much srtight away i have a job where i might have to do heavy lifting from time to time and i didnt want him to think i was being lazy(he would we get on really well). i think you should tell the people closest to you if something happens there going to be the best people to support you. as for everyone else weve decided they can wait till the 3 month mark.
With my first pregnancy we waited until we were 6 weeks because it was Christmas. The second pregnancy we waited until 8 weeks because we were getting married! If it weren't for the special occasions, we probably would've told right away.
I told my family and friends right after I found out in each pregnancy. If something happened to the baby, they were going to know anyhow.
I did miscarry very early in first pregnancy, and I was glad I had told people because my hubby didn't truly know how to react. God, I woke him up to tell him I had a miscarriage and his second comment was to ask if I wanted sex. Oh brother! His mother was a godsend that day and it made hubby realize what I was going through.
