since last night i have been having wierd shooting pains in my love canal! they don't last long but they made me not want sex (which is a rare thing for me). OH was worried, as i was bouncing out the chair every time one of these pains came along, they were that bad. but they were no where near bump! i thought it might have something to do with the plug! help!

I used to get exactly those pains when I was at the end of my second pregnancy, to the point that I went into hospital and asked if he was poking his foot out or something.. !!!! lol
They said it was stretching pains, and to do with my SPD.....
If there's no bleeding don't worry too much, but ask your midwife if in anyway concerned. I'm sure she's heard all sorts... lol

It's probably just stretching pains but you could always call your doctor or MW to settle your mind

They are quite normal hun, I used to get them and at times they were bloody painful and would come out of no where, then go as fast as they come!

I think these guys are right your cervix and all your other lady bits are stretching and moving at the moment i got it in the first couple of weeks of pregnancy and it felt like someone was pinching me from inside but it calmed down after awhile if your worried go see your gp they can put your mind at rest
