Taking folic acid and then being sick

Would you take another tablet or not?

I took it about an hour or so ago and I feel really bleurgh and sickly today.

I am resisting being sick cos I dont want to throw up my folic acid tablet for today

I am just trying to take my folic acid at my least sicky time of the day but if i am sick i dont take another incase it has absourbed as i dont want to take too much?!?

I usually take mine at night so at least they are being absorbed whilst Im sleeping.

Vitamin pills always made me feel queasy if I didn't eat enough food with them.. so I've been taking mine with lunch or supper (supper is easier to remember somehow

)

And I dont *think* you can overdose on folic acid - unless they are megadose pills, so I guess I'd take another one if i did throw up very soon after

As far as I was told by my OB your body gets rid of excess folic acid it doesnt need, so you cant really overdo it? Dont know whether or not this means you can just go ahead and take another, but if it helps Im on 5mg tablets, if you are on the normal 400ug, I wouldnt be concerned at all about taking another.

Yeah I am on 400mg.

I take it when I get up, so it depends on whatever time that is! My morning sickness has been coming and going, some days bad and other days nothing!

Today I feel as though I am on a ferry in the North Sea and I wanna throw up over the side of it!

i was finding i was sick more in the day if i took it in the morning so i started to take it at night instead was much better
