Measuring Small at 9 Week Scan

I got pregnant on my second cycle of ttc. First cycle was 31 days. My LMP was on the 14th July and my fertility monitor said I ovulated either on the 30th or 31st July.

I should be 9 weeks today. Had spotting and slight cramps last night, so went for a scan at the hospital. The radiologist said that everything measured in proportion to each other, but that the baby itself measured 5 ½ weeks. She said that she wouldn’t be concerned if I’d only just had a positive pregnancy test, but that unless my dates were wrong, the baby is too small.

Looking at dates etc and trying to see if it’s ok but think I may be clutching at straws.

Any advice as very upset and worried now.

perhaps your dates of just off. i wouldn't get too worried most ppl are off a little. I know the exact time we had sex to get bean and even at scan they were telling me my dates were different so don't fret.

Yes, booked in for a rescan in 2 weeks time. Ages to wait...

Found your update so ignore my post on your other thread looking for one.....

This is my first pregnancy so I don't have any advice cause I'm pretty clueless....just wanted to say hang in there hunni.

perhaps your dates of just off. i wouldn't get too worried... i had a scan over a week ago and i thought i was nearly 9 weeks and i was told it measured 5 weeks she was not worries she just said i had ovulated later? im still very confused but my midwife said thet hopefully at the 12 week scan it will be more back to my dayes... or somewere inbetween... FX for you

try not to worry. maybe you off just a bit and actually got PG in august instead. so long as the doctor isnt worried i would try and relax and enjoy that little bean being there!!
