Hey I had a DVT in my last pregnancy, they told me if i get pregnant again i may have to inject my self daily with stuff to thin the blood!! I'm going to the docs this afternoon to see what the outcome will be for me!!
Was wandering if anyone else has suffered DVT in pregnancy? xxxxxx

yes deep vain thrombosis, i had a clot in my leg, i'm seeing the midwife on tuesday!!

Oh no! Hopefully you won't have to get the injections, but if you do just keep telling yourself that you are doing what's best for you and baby

they've said that in my 1st tri i should be injection free but maybe when i start getting bigger, i'm gettin referred to a specialist so atleast i'll be in safe hands!!

I am currently TTC. I have a blood clotting disorder that I got from my mother called factor V leiden. If you search for it on google you will find some good information. It causes blood clots, especially during pregnancy. Its something you might want to look into...many women have it and dont know!

My mom found out because she got a DVT while she was pregnant with me. So, when I get pregnant I have to take needles of blood thinners every day also.
