apparently fibogel is safe - i was researching it last night on the internet as I have the same problem basically it's just a shed load of extra indigestable fibre, which helps to move things along

I have the most disgusting cure but it works for everybody, try it, you'll see the results within a couple hours Eat a couple of small herrings (you know herrings in oil or sour cream in those little jars) and then drink milk. Guaranteed to cure better than pills

It can also be the result of dehydration - so make sure you drink lots of water to moisten things up a bit!!!! It was one of the reasons I first knew I was pregnant - had never had trouble going before in my life before! It went for a few weeks and is back with a vengeance now!!
