Was really hoping my first post wouldnt be such a moan but as no-one other that my bf knows I'm pregnant (just under 6wks) I feel really alone and would love your advice.
I unfortunately suffered 2 m/c's back in 1998 and 2000, both early on around 8-9 wks. After the 2nd one they questioned whether I had a bi-cornate (heart shaped uterus) but this was never confirmed and specialist just told me to keep trying!
So here I am over 7 yrs later (aged 33), pregnant and absolutely terrified. I explained my history to my Dr who has booked me in for my first scan at 10 wks - really sad as hoped it would be sooner.
My other worry is that I'm a student nurse and about to go out on placement in just over a weeks time. My uni dont know about my pg yet, but I'm fretting incase i end up in quite a stressful place i.e mental health setting.
Any advice would be much appreciated...... sorry for babbling on x x

Hi Curly
Congratulations on the pregnancy and welcome to B&B!
I'm afraid I can't offer any advice, but just relax, try and enjoy being pregnant and trust your instinct. If you think you need to chill out and relax (or even do a sickie) then you should - you'll be pleased you did in the long run.
I've got my fingers crossed for you. Keep in touch!

Congratulations on your pregnancy pet, totally understand why you would be nervous, have had previous mc at 8/9 weeks too and turns you into a nervous wreck!
My advice would be tell people, a few anyway to reduce stress for you, if the worst happens you will then have support. Even if you just tell key people like your boss or decision maker on your placement so they have to take this into consideration.
Apart from that please try and relax and enjoy being pregnant, you are entitled too!

Hi, firstly I know its easy to say but try not to worry to much. As for uni, Im a student nurse to in my final yr. Im 12 weeks at mo. The best thing you can do is inform the college and speak to the placement team and ask them to place you somewear to suit you being pregnant. Ive found that this worked well for me. Also you'll prob find it easier them knowing as they will be understanding with assisgnments and things. xxx

I agree with Belle you need to tell someone so your placement can be assessed. Other than that try and relax and enjoy being pregnant(easier said than done i know)
