I decided I couldn't wait any longer and have booked another private scan, it's on Friday. They are going to do a DVD of it as DH can't make it I'm so excited but also very nervous as it'll be nearly 4 weeks since I last saw Beano.

Anyone else given in and gone private?

i feel like giving in as i have at least 4-5 wks till my next scan as i saw beano at 5 and a half wks. it seams so so far away

i just wondered how much a private scan is as im really interested?

And do you have your 12-13wks scan booked yet too?

I know I'm a nightmare. I'd buy an ultrasound machine if I could afford one

They do vary in price but mine costs £50 and the dvd and the photos all come with that price.

I'm still having my 12 week scan, that is on the 11th February.

I would recommend a private one. They are really lovely and give you a lot more photos than the NHS.

I'm going private, but for the full Nuchal Scan. It's this Thursday so a week earlier than my 12wk NHS was booked for! I picked the earlier date they offered me, of course!

Never seen nor heard my bean yet, so I hope there is one!

By the way the scan for Downs/Dating and combined blood tests is costing me £180!

yes I am 11 weeks 3 days - the pic is not me! Just thought it was brilliant though.

Going for first scan tomorrow, am starting to get very nervous that nothing is there! lol This sort of irrational thinking seems to be normal, by the sounds of it.
