Anyone else taken Dramamine?

Hi ladies,
my sickness got so bad last week (11th wk) that I phoned my doctor and asked if I could take something, he said yes, Dramamine which is a travel/motion sicknes tab. Has anyone else taken it? I hope I don't have to take it for much longer, but it has given me a new lease of life! Actually able to do my job now!

I tried it but somehow it made me feel more sick. Not surehow that happened. He gave me phenergan instead though and it worked like magic. It's prescription too so my insurance covered it and I didn't have to pay, which was a nice plus.

I was on Phenegren to. It did not work as well with me because I had/got Hyperemisis so the OBGYN prescribed Zofran. It is a nausea tablet for cancer patients who are dealing with nausea and vomiteing while on chemo. It is a little tablet that you put under your tongue and it disolves. It worked some. But I still have to go get reydrated at the ER. Zofran is very very expensive here. My OBGYN had to call the insurance company to approve because otherwise it wouldn't be paid by the insurance since it is a very expensive drug.

I am so glad that is working for OP

I took that with both my son and daughter. In fact with my daughter they had me on both the zofran and the phenergan. The price of the zofran really is outrageous. Without insurance it would have cost me $36/pill. Even with insurance it cost me $6/pill. I am sooo glad I didn't need it this time because I couldn't afford it these days. I never took the dissolving form though. It was just a regular pill.
