Getting a little worried

I've had alot of dischargey stuff since finding out I'm pregnant and read on here alot of women do. But today I noticed it's going a beige colour and I don't think this is normal and it's starting to worry me, could I be having a miscarriage?

My boobs are still sore but they don't feel as big as they did a couple of days ago, I have been feeling sick for the last 3 days (I was sick twice yesterday and a little bit earlier today). I haven't had stomach ache for a week or so like I did for the first week or so after finding out, and I am in no pain at all.

The beige/very light brown stuff doesn't smell at all and it doesn't look like blood in any way. I'm just getting a little worried incase it's a miscarriage, I hope I don't seem silly I'm just new to this lol. Has anybody else experienced this or anything similar?

Just try to relax babe and hopefully itīll subside soon, if not then you need to see your GP, loads of people have spotting (if thatīs what it is) in the first tri and go on to have healthy babies, I did with my DS. Hope it passes soon

Hi Lauren

I think if anything you may have a slight yeast infection or something, but i doubt its anything to worry about.

Unless you get blood and severe pains then try not to worry about possible mc.

I keep getting brown discharge and had a little bleed the other day but it was nothing to worry about and im fine now.

My brothers gf suffered water infections and stuff all through her pg and the baby was fine. I would just get it checked out with your midwife or gp. If they are concerned they will take a swob of your cm and send it to be tested.

Try to relax and stay calm and keep us posted x

, i had brown discharge for a couple of days when I was about 4.5 weeks preg, there was no pain. Went to my docs & she sent me for a scan but as it was early they couldn't see anything. 2 weeks later went back for another scan & we saw baby & heartbeat
Sometimes brown discharge or even slight fresh blood is due to hormonal changes at the time when your period might have been due, or a bit of blood left over from when the egg implanted in your uterus.
Hope that helps, if in doubt go see your doc xx

I thought I would reply as I went through exatly the same thing. I emailed my Dr about the beige discharge and he said that it was nothing to worry about. My boobs have also been so weird. They went massive, full and sore from week 4-5 and like magic at week 5 they seemed to go back to normal and only the nipples were sore. From week 6 they slightly grew again and have stayed slightley bigger until last week (wk10) were they went smaller again for a day or so and now they have blown up again!!!

Anyway, what I think I am trying to say is that hormones make your body do strange things and my boobs and probably discharge obviously seem to be affected by my hormone surges! I'm sure everything is fine for you too, but you could check with your Dr just to get reassurance. I go for my Nuchal/Dating scan on Thursday night and will know for sure if all this has been normal!

Good Luck!

I was sick this morning so I was actually quite happy about that, that the symptoms where still here . If it gets any darker I'm going to go to the Emergency room just to make sure.

My Mum is helping alot more now, she told me to lie down and she'll talk about it to me when I get home because she thinks it's normal.

Even though it's not blood I'd prefer to go to the ER as I learned from people on here when it's to do with pregnancy it doesn't matter how silly you feel, it's better to make sure . But thanks everybody I do feel alot better about it now.

And it could possibly be because my period is due about nowish. It's due the end of every month , but hopefully I won't be getting it for a while.

I'm glad you are feeling better about things. Hopefully it won't get any darker, but it's always best to have these things checked out if you feel it best

The fact you are not in pain is a great sign - brown colour discharge can be just old blood. Try not to worry hun and take it as easy as possible! x
