hiya guys is it just me i cant wait until my first scan time seems to be dragging as ive got quite a way to go yet i just want to make it until then so i can see our little bean growing and worry alittle bit less when will it be 12,13,14 weeks??

i'm the same way ! i can't wait! I think i'll relax a lot more once i hear a heartbeat too

Me too, I cant wait for my first scan either.

I think its from 12 wks onwards so i am just waiting for my scan date as already had my first mw app.

However i saw bean and heartbeat at 5 and a half wks due to pains i was getting, but still feel anxious and need to see bub looking more like a baby to feel reassured.

How many scans do you normally have throughout a pregnancy in USA?

Geesh, here it is around the 17-20 week and it's only one scan. Yes, that makes one going through pregnancy feel that it is soooo long until delivery. LOL

I can't wait to see the baby too! I had a scan earlier this week due to some cramping and spotting but they would not let me see it because I was in the hospital and the tech was not so nice. She told me that at this stage it was too small to see anything. They said they saw the heartbeat and everything is fine but I can't wait to see for myself. I also think that it will be much more reassuring.

Even though my 12 weeks scan is only 2 weeks away I'm going to book another private scan for this week. I hate going for ages without seeing Beano
