Thyroid Medication

When hubby and I were planning our first child, I experienced a miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I am so grateful that I have a good doctor who had decided to check my thyroid levels and who found out I was borderline underactive.

Thyroid is responsible for many cell productions in your body, including a viable pregnancy.

For those who have experienced a miscarriage, I do suggest you talk to your doctor about getting tested for thyroid disorder.

For those who do have a thyroid disorder, ensure that your blood is checked to see if the levels are the same or have changed. And make sure that you don't forget to take your thyroid pills everyday.

Unfortunately, a thyroid disorder means that you have to take pills everyday for the remainder of your life, but it's best to not let it be untreated. Especially when one is trying to conceive or is pregnant.

Mmm I have an underactive thyroid, not so fun!
It hasn't affected my pregnancy so far though thank goodness.
Definately worth anyone getting tested if they think they might have either underactive or overactive.

if its under control it shouldn't affect your pregnancy at all, you have to have your levels checked every trimester
