Hello. I can definitely understand your concern. First of all, I would phone your doctor as soon as possible.

Secondly the brown blood, they say, is old blood. Blood can stay in your uterus for a number of days before making it's way out. It could have been implantation bleeding.

What does concern me is the cramps. How bad are they? At the same time, just read that you've had them on and off throughout your pregnancy. Is this your first? Could be the uterus growing

Make sure you do call your doctor and do take it easy today.

Thinking of you.

I would see your doctor. I've experienced cramping and from what I've read that's normal, but bleeding is not.

I had bleeding during my second pregnancy and everything was fine. This week I had some spotting, which was pink in color, yet it has stopped now and everything seems fine.

They do say that 30% of pregnant woman do experience bleeding, but everything is ok It can be normal for some women.

But do call the doctor and let him/her know.

I think you will be fine It's probably your uterus growing. I had a bit of tension there this week too.

Come to think of it, I had bleeding in my first pregnancy too. I thought I had had a second miscarriage and my doctor had me go in for an ultrasound. The way the nurses kept asking me after the ultrasound "When was your last period" had me know that they saw a pregnancy She's now a 6 year old girl

I know it's very hard not to worry but do take it easy!

Any bleeding you should speak to your GP or MW the next working day just to be on the 'safe side' any severe pain or the bleeding is HEAVY you should go to the emergency.

Cramps are perfectly normal for a viable pregnancy & will continue through your pregnancy.

I had bleeding with this pregnancy for most of my 1st trimester after finding out I was pregnant. Sometimes there can be a reason for bleeding with an ongoing pregnancy sometimes theres none in my case after a check, water tests & a scan there was no obvious reason so was left unknown but my LO is here.

Best of luck & welcome to BabyandBump
