Bad diarrhoea/cramps and now boobs don't feel sore anymore...

I am 6.5 weeks pregnant was sent home from work yesterday with severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea (there is a virus going around work). It lasted about 12 hours. I tried to drink as much water as I could to stop from getting dehydrated but lost alot of fluid in the night. Got a dry mouth this morning but am feeling much better and drinking as much as I can and it is holding. My concern is my boobs don't feel as sore as they did yesterday. I am not bleeding. Is the loss of soreness due to dehydration or could I have lost the baby? I live in a foreign country and can't get into see an English speaking doctor until Tuesday. I have just sent my husband out in the snow to get a pregnancy test which was immediately positive (and very strong). Should I be worried?

I think you're probably being paranoid, which is normal when you're pregnant. I'm sure you're fine, but it won't hurt to get it checked out

Ta, got appointment for Tuesday. I am normally a very calm and rational person but feel like I am losing the plot a bit every since I discovered I am pregnant. I think I need to stop reading information internet in the wee small hours when I can't sleep! My mum and friends are on the other side of the world and I haven't told anyone I am pregnant yet (want to wait for first scan in a few weeks). It is my first pregnancy and I am relying internet to calm my nerves...seems to be having the opposite effect!

Yeah, the internet will do anything but calm your nerves. I'm a hypercrit I google every symptom I have! Aslong as you're not bleeding I wouldn't worry too much. Hope everything is O.K.

I had a couple of stomach bugs with my last pregnancy and everything was fine. They are suprisingly tough and protected in there

I got ill during my early weeks too and lost all my symptoms during that time. I don't know why it happens but someone else I know said the same thing.

I'm sure the baby is fine. It's scary not feeling pregnant but even if you feel ill, baby is probably perfectly happy.

Thank you very much for your words of support and helping me regain rational thought again. I have turned into a stress puppet and am driving DH insane! Emailed doctor and she said it is most likely dehydration and body needs to recover. 12 hours later after drinking liquids all day, sore boobs are back!
