backache

I just wondered how many of you have experienced backache in the 1st Trimester.

I have had a dull ache in the lower left hand side of back all day. I have had it before with this pg but only during week 3-4 (before i got my BFP).

Is it normal or os it a bad sign? Oh and i ovulated from the left ovary which was confirmed on a scan

I think it can be pretty normal, but I never had that problem myself. Hope you start feeling better soon

I got it bad last week - it sounds like it is the sciatic nerve. I laid down on the floor with a golf ball and put a ton of pressure on where it hurt. It was terribly painful, but the next morning it felt much better. Tennis balls work too I hear...

, I have lower back pain on my right side that comes & goes. When you had your left sided tummy pain was it at the same level as your belly button or lower? When I've been at work I get a twinge on my left side in line with my belly button!
