Ok! It's my turn at feeling dumb and embarrassed and silly and and and

I'm now 8 weeks 3 days.

On Wedenesday evening I started noticing something..

Every evening my tummy is a bit bigger. It's not water retention. The water retention is mostly congregating just under my belly button. This is below just above my pubic bone. It's also pretty solid. Like a small bump. But in the mornings it's gone again.

Now my pregnancy week by week article says that my waistline my be getting bigger in the evenings and then shrinking back by morning.

I wouldn't have thought I'd show early. I'm not skinny... I'm not obese either.. Umm SA's sizes are different. I'm a dress size 10. Or size 34.
But I think your sizes are different. I'm a medium!

Am I being obsessive or is this actually possible. DH just smiles and shakes his head everytime I mention it but yesterday he did mumble something about people finding out soon. He said he can see changes.

At 8 weeks?!?!?

Im not really sure about the growing a shrinking thing. Im just over 9 weeks and a size 8 and i dont look any different in my opinion other than the irritaing water and bloating, my jeans fit fine unless im having an extra bloated day. Pregnancy is diff for everyone so anything is possible, maybe your babe is just growing faster than average. congrats on your pregnancy xxxxx

I have definately gained around the middle although I have children before so I think that's why I'm starting to show earlier . I wouldn't worry about it, it's perfectly normal. I am probably a bit bigger of a nighttime, it's probably the mound of food I've consumed during the day piling up

Ow, you should post a pic on the bump thread I keep meaning too. The difference between me at 5 weeks and 8 weeks is really noticable, I should take another one now.

My DH started to notice changes at around 9 weeks.

Strange... Last weekend I noticed feeling a bit bigger and then my lower belly started getting harder. When I went to the Dr. on Monday, she said she could feel my uterus moving forward - so we were actually able to hear the baby's heart beat early!!! So I think changes are starting to happen in my belly...

I look huge on a night, i went clothes shopping the other night and bought some trousers but they seemed a bit too big the next morning when i put them on to wear!

Suppose it will be all the pies i've eaten through the day and am more bloated!

This is pretty normal actually, like some people notice they look a lot bigger after eating a big meal but later it'll go away, I wouldn't worry about it. I have a friend whose pregnant also and started showing at 8 weeks and her doctor said it's because she has a large uterus, good luck at your appointment!
