Help Confused

I just found out I was 5 weeks pregnant on Saturday. I went to the doctors on Monday and he just said i wont do another test on you as you have already done 2 clear Blue ones and your next step is to see the midwife for her to check your bloods. I booked in with the midwife 4 march. i was told you normally get your first app between week 10 to 14 I will be 11 weeks then..

Just seems like a long time to go and see anyone just wondered when you peeps had your first check ups :dohh. Sorry just panicking a little

Although I did go in to see my doctor at 4 weeks, when I first found out I was pregnant they really didn't do much of anything, just advised me on the what to dos and what not to dos. They did send me for bloodwork at that time but I didn't get the results until I went in again at 10 weeks and at the 10 week appointment she did a physical on me and referred me to an OB. I didn't go in until 13 weeks. I don't think there is much that they can do that early in pregnancy, but now that I'm further along they want to see me once a month.

I didn't see the doc until 10 weeks either, I thought it seemed like a long time, but it goes by quickly. I understand where you are coming from though, you are so built up with excitement and ready to know what's going on with the baby and everything.

By the way bump, I love the pictures of the dogs on your profile, they are soo cute. (Sorry, I'm an animal lover).
