i saw the doc at 5 weeks just to confirm he told me it was very early and not to come back for two months. in the mean time he sent me for a dating scan at 8 weeks. i actually didnt end up seeing a doc til 13 weeks.

I had my booking appointment at 8weeks but alot of people see their mw at 10weeks

hi i had my first appointment at 13 weeks. it was awful i had to wait not knowing that everything was going well in there. after that i didnt see midwife till i was 18 weeks then i didnt see her again until i was 27 weeks it was crap. was just they had a shortage. but they leave you till 12 weeks for appointment because your chances of anything going wrong drop around this time. dont worry your self though im sure youll be ok. im due in march and its not taking its time to get there

Im sorry to hear that you have to wait so long before you see your mw I think it is down to the area where you live and how busy they are. My gp told me i would probably not see the mw until i was 8-10 wks but i actually saw her yesterday at 7wks 3d.

I know its frustrating but hand in there, trust me it will fly by. Felt like it was only yesterday that i got my BFP at 4wks 2days.

Hope you have a h&h 9 months.

Because I had early bleeding the hospital booked me in for my 12 weeks scan when I had my scan a couple of weeks ago. I won't book in with the midwife till after then although I'm suprised at how patient I'm being....... *saying that whilst seriously thinking of another private scan *

i went to Doc's at 6wks 4 days, he said he couldn't do alot and to see midwife.

He gave me a number which i phoned and made an appointment for the 6th Feb, i'll be 8 wks 4 days by then... feels like forever away so you must be itching for the time to pass, but when i think that i found out a week ago now... time really does fly, especially when your having fun and these really are the best days of our lives!!!
