Anyone Having 1st Scan on Monday?

Good morning ladies

I have my scan app on Monday morning at 9.40 and I am soooo nervous. I'll be exactly 12 weeks by my dates. I haven't had any early scans, no spotting or bleeding, plenty of stretching cramps and some 'fluttering' feelings on my left side. I can even feel what I think is my uterus now above my pubic bone. So why am I so nervous? I've been in tears this morning thinking of all of the bad things that might happen

although deep down inside I feel that all will be ok. Anyone else have a scan next week? And are you feeling as anxious and scared as I am??

Hi,

I am having my scan week after next when I will be 10 weeks 4 days and I am feeling pretty scared too. I keep on thinking what if they find anything. I know it's silly to worry but I guess it is pretty natural too. Unfortunately part of my degree was genetics and I work in clinical genetics so I keep running over all the awful things that could occur, even though I know that the chances are minute. I have to keep on telling myself that I am a healthy 26 year old with no family history of genetic defects on my or my husbands side. I am sure we will both be fine though.

It's a Bank holiday in the UK, are you elsewhere? Doubt our hospitals will scan on a BH.

I should be in Tri 2 (sorry for interloping) I've got a midwife appt on Tuesday, hoping to hear HB, haven't seen anyone since 8+6 when I had my scan and booking appointment. Have felt flutterings - I think - but have been feeling pretty irrational all day, like I'm not really preggers, hopefully just the hormones and being a general worrywort.

I'm in Scotland Chocaholic, don't think it's a holiday up here. Think we had ours a fortnight ago before kids went back to school. Thanks for the good luck!! Not long now.
Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy. Hopefully I'll be in 2nd Tri soon x
