Sometimes if your nose is really stuffed up, a saline nose spray can help and it's perfectly safe. I find it helps to clear a sinus headache when I can't take anything else or nothing else is helping.

No saline spray is just a salt water solution. You can make your own just dissolve some sea salt in hot water and if you have a dropper you just put your head back and put drops up your nose! Works for me.
I would take vitamin C, Im taking it every day in pregnancy anyway and its safe. Just watch your dosage. Hope you feel better!

Honey and hot water, or similarly lemon and hot water.
Or drop some salt in steaming water in a bowl and breathe it in with a towel over your head, helps unclog the nose! xx

You can put plain water in a netty pot and drain your nose. Also, lots of orange juice helps. I always have horrible allergies at this time of year, but I was drinking orange juice before they started (since oj is the only thing that gets rid of my heartburn) so my allergies don't bother me. I sneeze once in awhile, but thats it.

thanks for all the tips girls! i went to the chemist and for those of you in the uk the only medicines were allowed is a vicks nasal stick (one of the ones that looks like a tampon and you stick up your nose and breath), olbas oil and paracetamol! the lovely lady in the chemist cheerfully told me about her daughter who had a cold for a month when she was pg....excellent!!
