Hi Im Claire and Im 25 df is also 25 and our baby is due 6th Sep 08.
We started ttc for our first child July O7 after being on bcp since 16yrs old. Like most of you i was convinced it would not happen. The funny thing was friend did not know we were ttc and predicted i would be pg by the end of the year
Surely enough i got my BFP on New Years Eve as i took a hpt as I was 4 days late. Strange thing was I already knew i was pg and had convinced df as well.
I had sore massive bbs, headaches, lower back aches, cramps and dark circles around eyes. I just knew and my mum thought i was and questioned me about it on christmas day
So me and df we're set to marry Aug 09 but have moved the wedding forward to May this year so we are married by the time baby arrives.

Oh and got to see bean and heartbeat at 5 and a half wks due to bad pains but all was fine.

Currently i just feel sick most of the time and feel a little alone soit will be nice to share my journey with you girls.

Congrats to you all, hope you have a h&h 9 months

First I just wanna say congratulations to you all and all the best!!

To be honest im not that worried bout the birth, to be honest. Although, o propbably should be as my mum was so traumatised by hers (i.e. my birth) she cannot watch anything w/ or about births to this day w/o feeling sick... thats bad! But no, im not. I figure these days there are so many options of pain relief and they usually know a lot before the birth as well. I have to admit though, i dont harbour any illusions i'll have a pain free one, where the epidural is just magic. i think that doesnt happen to many women, lol!! don't worry, im sure you'll be fine, and ask questions when you can of doctors, nurses etc..
