Lump in groin?

It might be a gland...or maybe even justa hair, but right on my knicker line right at the top of my leg there's a lump under the skin. Just on the left side, and it's about the size of a pea and getting bigger...been there for about 3 weeks or so...not sure if it's a little painful, or if it just makes me feel yukky...(if that makes sense?)..Doesnt look red or anything on the outside.

Anyone else had this?
I'm asking my doc tomorrow afetrnoon...but in the mean time thought i'd check with you girls....could this be something to really panic about?!!!

Sorry never had this before, in that place anyway! i do tend to get little lumps but they disappear after a few weeks( have had them behind my ears), i saw my doctor and he said they were little cysts. he said if they painful he can cut out but if not leave them and see if they go, would just check with your doctor as you said, i doubt its anything to worry about.

Not quite sure but it sounds to me that it could be just an ingrown hair.
Sometimes this happens when the hair gets caught in the skin which sometimes causes a little bump, sometimes swelling.
I have had this before and it turns out that its just an ingrown hair.
Nothing to worry about.

You have more glands your lady bits (and man) than your neck and underarms. Dr just doesn't check there so much when your ill I would say a gland or it could even be a vane with your increasing blood flow i wouldn't worry

I would agree - probably just a blocked gland (like if you have ever got a blocked gland in your armpit). It will probably clear in a few days, but if you are worried you should make an appointment with GP.
